Benny Green Trio Performs
A perpetual student of the history of Jazz piano, Benny Green mentions Art Tatum, Erroll Garner, Hank Jones, Ahmad Jamal, Phineas Newborn, Bud Powell and Oscar Peterson as some of his main influences. His approach to Jazz can be resumed in his own words: "...for myself and a lot of musicians I admire, the main focus is to just swing and have fun, and share those feelings with the audience...and, if I'm able to convey that, then I feel like I'm doing something positive". It was an incredible concert as his return to Tempe Center for the Arts this season on the new Ravenscroft Piano. 02/17/2012
Sonoran Chamber Music Series
Clarinet Trio with Russell Harlow, clarinet, Thomas Landschoot, cello and Robert Moeling, piano. The third concert of the Sonoran Chamber Music Series featured Russell Harlow, one of the nation's premiere solo and chamber music clarinetists, Dutch virtuoso pianist Robert Moeling and Artistic Director Thomas Landschoot. The program in the Gallery of Tempe Center for the Arts included some of the great music for Clarinet Trio and a "Happy Birthday Arizona" surprise! 02/12/2012
Gretchen Parlato Performs
An alumni of the Thelonious Monk Institute, Parlato has been turning heads ever since she won the 2004 Thelonious Monk Institute International Vocal Competition with which she displayed a musical individuality loaded with paradoxical powers. Her sultry, intriguing voice and unique, rhythmically agile phrasing came with inescapable centripetal force; the more intimate and understated she sang, the more she drew listeners in. Phoenix Boys Choir Christmas Tour
This festive holiday premiere brought the combined Tour and Masters choirs of the Phoenix Boys Choir to the Tempe Center for the Arts and was accompanied by at 9 foot Ravenscroft Piano. The Boys Choir showcased holiday staples and a number of songs featuring the boys playing their English Handbells. 12/23/2011

Kathy Kosins with Tamir Hendelman
Detroit jazz singer Kathy Kosins was joined with world-renowned jazz pianist, Tamir Hendelman. Kathy is one of Detroit's best-known jazz vocalists, and Tamir, an Israeli jazz artist, is truly an international star. They performed in the intimate Lakeside Room at Tempe Center for the Arts. 11/18/2011
A Tribute to Ray Charles with the ASU Concert Jazz Orchestra
Audience members enjoyed a full-blown, completely swinging tribute to the great Ray Charles, featuring Chicagoʼs top jazzman Perrian Jordan, the three Raelettes, and an 18-piece jazz orchestra. Under the direction of Michael Kocour, ASU jazz orchestra is the premier large ensemble of the Jazz Studies program in the Herberger Institute at ASU. In this ensemble, students study and perform music from the classic big band repertoire, as well as commissioned works, student compositions and recent works by contemporary jazz composers. Performances for the night included original arrangements from the great Ray Charles album, Genius + Soul = Jazz. 10/22/2011
Opening Night with Bob Ravenscroft
Performances by The Bob Ravenscroft Trio are always an inspired look at the creation of jazz music by master musicians. This concert opened the next season of Lakeshore Music Concerts at Tempe Center for the Arts. Performers Bob Ravenscroft on piano, Dwight Killian on bass, and Rob Moore on drums comprise this trio. Making its debut at this concert in an official ceremony with the city mayor, was the new custom Ravenscroft Piano designed for the Tempe Center for the Arts. 09/24/2011
Ravenscroft Pianos sponsors the 17th Annual Vail Jazz Festival
This internationally acclaimed event featured five days and four nights of the world’s greatest jazz musicians including pianists: Monty Alexander, Shelly Berg, Bruce Bath, Bill Cunliffe, and Bobby Floyd. Nicole Pesce Performs
An unforgettable night of music and entertainment. At one point in the evening, Nicole was playing two pianos, three keyboards, and an iPad. Nicole's musical repertoire consists of over 12,000 memorized songs ranging from Chopin to Lady Gaga. Her performances styles include Classical, Jazz, Ragtime, Blues, Boogie Woogie, Broadway, Latin, Oldies, Pop, Opera, Spiritual, Country, Rock, Funk and Hip Hop. 06/24/2011
Performance With A View
Jazz pianist Bob Ravenscroft performed in the Lakeside Room at Tempe Center for the Arts on the handcrafted, custom-made piano that bears his name. This concert left standing room only to experience the spiritual and meditative reverence of Ravenscroft's music. Bob Ravenscroft has performed internationally and throughout the United States for over 20 years with countless fine musicians. 06/04/2011
Spreeman Teaches in Europe
Michael Spreeman, creator of Ravenscroft Pianos, taught in Germany at the Annual Conference of the Federation of German Piano Makers (Bund Deutscher Klavierbauer) held at the Park Hotel in Münster. He was well received and so was his class on the Ravenscroft Piano. 06/01/2011
Keys for Charity
Evan Pensis, age 17, is raising money for the Japan Earthquake Relief Fund through Citizen Effect, a non-profit organization that helps people launch small-scale philanthropic projects. Evan has been performing his charity concert all over the greater Phoenix valley and one performance was held at the Ravenscroft Pianos showroom in Scottsdale. Joining Evan was fellow pianist and friend, Kristen Smith. Works performed were Beethoven, Chopin, Brahms, Debussy, and more. 05/21/2011
Christian Jacob Trio Performs
Jazz pianist, Christian Jacob performed on a Ravenscroft 275 with his trio; Trey Henry on bass and drummer, Ray Brinker. This band has been Tierney Sutton's core road band for more than 15 years, but it's also Christian's touring group in Europe and Asia. Christian Jacob, a Frenchman, is one of the finest jazz pianists in the world and rarely tours. 05/20/2011
Sonoran Quartet Performs
Performing quartets by Schumann, Mozart and Brahms, this quartet is comprised of cellist Thomas Landschoot, violinist Jonathon Swartz, violist Nancy Buck and pianist Russel Ryan. Joining this group for the concert was a Ravenscroft Model 275 in the new setting of the TCA Gallery. The piano and group were well received in this intimate space. 03/27/2011

Bob Ravenscroft Performs
Bob Ravenscroft performed live at Scottsdale Congregational United Church of Christ as part of a free weekly jazz concert put on by Sacred Grounds. The latest Ravenscroft Model 220 was brought in for the concert and featured performances by other jazz pianists Russ Schmidt, Nick Manson, Mike Kocour, and a special appearance by Chuck Marohnic. 03/03/2011
Lorraine Feather and Shelly Berg Perform
Jazz vocalist Lorraine Feather is the daughter of Leonard Feather, the late jazz writer. She is a gifted lyricist, and is known for her full-bodied, traditional vocal style. Shelly Berg is one of the most notable jazz pianists on the scene today, and he's the Dean of Music at the University of Miami. Shelly is known for his collaborations with jazz vocalists. He has performed, recorded and arranged for Patti Austin, Nancy Wilson, Bobby McFerrin, Kurt Elling, Dionne Warwick, Tierney Sutton and others. This incredible duo performed with a Ravenscroft 275 for the evening's concert at TCA. 02/18/2011
The John Proulx Quartet Performs
This rising star is the hottest new jazz pianist on the West Coast known for his reminiscent singing style of jazz trumpet legend, Chet Baker. Proulx's most recent album is titled Baker’s Dozen. His band features some of the top session musicians in Los Angeles. 01/21/2011

Donna Marie Hartley performs
Donna Marie Hartley, a child prodigy, the youngest student ever accepted into the Eastman School of Music, and a "George Eastman Scholar", performed a variety of music by Gershwin, Liszt, Debussy and others. Karrin Allyson & the ASU Big Band performs
Two-time Grammy Award nominated artist Karrin Alyson has been winning over fans and critics alike, and she has been doing so just about everywhere jazz can be heard or seen since 1992. Ravenscroft Pianos at the "Knock Out Parkinson Jazz and Blues Festival"
This was the third annual benefit for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center in Phoenix. Five groups of musicians performed on a Ravenscroft Model 220 at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort. Performers included: Joe Garcia and Friends, Nuance Music with Devon Bridgewater and Friends, The Vicki McDermitt Quartet, jazz experience Dennis Rowland, and Inner Journeys featuring Bob Ravenscroft. 11/01/2009
Annual Friends of Tempe Center for the Arts Gala
David Spade entertained this year's gala which included an elegant reception, sit-down dinner and jazz performances with the Bob Ravenscroft Trio. The trio performed on a Ravenscroft Model 275 in the main reception area overlooking tempe town lake. Inner Journeys Celebrates Bill Evans

Concert of Soloists
Pianist Mauricio Arias with the ASU Symphony Orchestra and conductor Brian St. John, performed the first movement of Chopin's second piano concerto at ASU Gammage.
